Cinnamon
Botanical Name : Cinnamomum verum, synonym C. zeylanicum
Properties : Anaesthetic, Antidontalgic, Antiseptic, Anitputrefacitve, Antispasmodic, Aphrodisiac, Astringent, cardiac, Carminative, Emmenagogue, escharotic, Haemostatic, insecticide, Parasiticade, Stimulant, stomachic, Vermifuge. Has a mildly astringent effect on the skin, tightening loose tissues and is apparently effective in clearing warts.

Properties : It is found in wood of the camphor laurel. Camphor is readily absorbed through the skin and produces a feeling of cooling similar to that of menthol and acts as slight local anesthetic and antimicrobial substance. The camphor oil is an agent which eases bruises, inflammations, and joint pains
